Dear Colleagues and Friends

On behalf of the organising committee, we are excited to welcome you to the 3rd annual Toronto Complement Conference, (TCC) which will be held on November 17-19, 2022.

Over the past two decades complement research has seen a breath-taking development, and progress related to complement-mediated diseases has resulted in life-transforming advancements in patient management. Nevertheless, research and clinical translation thereof are still only at their beginnings, and there is a tremendous opportunity for education and learning in the complement field. In response to this development, we launched the new annual international Toronto Complement Conference (TCC) in 2020, aiming to gather scientists, clinicians, and allied health professionals from North America and all over the world to discuss the latest topics in the complement field – in science and in the clinical arena.

For TCC 2022 we once again composed an exciting program with stellar faculty being internationally recognized for topics of great interest including TMA, C3G, and novel treatments. We are also offering an exciting new event in form of a Young Investigators Forum as well as the Pharma & Biotech Innovations Session where health care companies will have an opportunity to present their research and development in the complement space.

Please note that we decided to take extra precaution and host the event for the 2nd year in a row virtually, but we are confident that at TCC 2023 we will once again have the opportunity to meet in person.

Welcome to TCC 2022 – we hope you will enjoy the conference!

 With our best wishes

Chris Patriquin and Christoph Licht
